EESL to showcase A.P. Anganwadi success story in Germany
The Andhra Pradesh government is set to showcase its clean-cooking initiative for Anganwadi Centres at a global platform in Germany. The program replaces traditional cooking methods with energy-efficient induction stoves to improve health and reduce carbon emissions.

The Andhra Pradesh (A.P.) Government’s clean-cooking initiative covering 55,746 Anganwadi Centres is set to receive international recognition as Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) will showcase it at a global knowledge-exchange platform in Ravensburg, Germany from September 28 to October 2, 2026.
EESL was invited by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to participate in the international study tour and share India’s experiences in energy efficiency, clean energy solutions, and sustainable development.
A.P.’s Anganwadi clean-cooking programme is one of the successful Indian initiatives which EESL will highlight, as to how energy efficiency can be integrated with social welfare and nutrition services on a large scale, according to an official release.
EESL CEO Akhilesh Kumar Dixit is scheduled to make a special presentation on the clean-cooking intervention being implemented across 55,746 Anganwadi Centres under the Women & Child Welfare Department.
