Edappadi Palaniswami urges govt. to expedite Cauvery-Gundar link project

AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Thursday said the Cauvery-Gundar link project must be implemented fully.
He presided over a marriage ceremony in party MP R. Dharmar’s family at Mudukulathur, Ramanathapuram district.
Speaking to reporters, he said that during the AIADMK regime, various welfare schemes were implemented for Ramanathapuram district. A fishing harbour was established at Mookaiyur near Sayalkudi at a cost of ₹110 crore. Two acres of land were allocated to build a memorial for former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. A law college was established in Ramanathapuram at a cost of ₹80 crore, and a medical college and hospital at ₹400 crore. Government arts colleges were set up in Rameswaram, Paramakudi, Mudukulathur, and Kadaladi.”
Various projects were implemented for the district including road facilities at Dhanushkodi Arichal Munai for Rameswaram’s tourism development and economic progress.
