The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday (September 3, 2026) conducted searches at the residence of a woman allegedly involved in supplying marijuana (ganja) to customers in and around Nanakramguda in Cyberabad, Telangana, as part of a money laundering investigation.

The searches were conducted at the residence of 48-year-old Neetu Bai alias Kalapathi Nithu Bai, a resident of Dhoolpet, who is wanted in multiple cases related to marijuana trafficking. She is currently absconding, officials said.

The ED initiated the probe based on an FIR registered by the Telangana Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE). Neetu Bai had allegedly escaped arrest during a special operation conducted by the EAGLE in Nanakramguda in June.
