State Police Chief Ravada A. Chandrasekhar has said that the letter received from the Enforcement Directorate (ED), recommending the registration of a case against former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, his daughter T. Veena, and former Minister P.A. Mohamed Riyas on corruption allegations in the CMRL-Exalogic pay-off case, has been forwarded to the State government for further action.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, Mr. Chandrasekhar said: “I received the letter from the Enforcement Directorate. We have sent the letter to the State government. We are waiting for necessary directives from there. The ED requested us to file an FIR, but we are still examining the matter.”
