WorldCast Systems has announced the Ecreso SwitchOver, a new 1+1 control unit for Ecreso AiO Series FM transmitters.

Combining Ecreso’s decades of RF and FM transmission expertise with Audemat’s heritage in monitoring, telemetry and control, the Ecreso SwitchOver is designed around a simple principle: a redundancy system is only as reliable as the unit controlling it.

More than an RF switching accessory, it provides advanced control and monitoring for clear visibility of site status, both locally and remotely.

The Ecreso SwitchOver is engineered for broadcast continuity, even if the control unit itself fails. Dual power supplies eliminate a single point of failure in the power supply and help prevent service interruptions.

In the event of a control unit failure, connected transmitters remain on air in their current state. For listeners, nothing changes.

Designed for today’s networked broadcast infrastructure, the Ecreso SwitchOver supports secure HTTPS communications and SNMPv3.
