ISLAMABAD - The top election regulatory authority yesterday ordered the establishment of an AI Wing at the Election Commission, which will provide technical support to various departments of the ECP. The ECP's meeting, chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, discussed that this new setup will help enhancing their efficiency through technological innovation and enabling them to perform routine office functions more effectively.The meeting was also attended by the Election Commission Secretary and senior officials. The participants were briefed on the Digital Office (E-Office), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the Election Commission's new modern website. Keeping in view the requirements of the modern era, the Chief Election Commissioner ordered the establishment of an AI Wing at the Election Commission.
