The first COVID-19 case has been registered in the East Godavari district on Sunday after a 21-year-old youth has been tested positive for COVID-19 in Rajamahendravaram city. This has been the first case reported this year.
“The 21-year-old youth is being treated in Government General Hospital (GGH) in Rajamahendravaram city,” East Godavari District Medical and Health Officer Komala told The Hindu .
