On the morning talk show, journalist Gayle King asked Spencer about William and Harry's involvement in the book. "I decided not to have anyone involved in the book," he said. Spencer explained that he did not tell family members about the memoir until shortly before its public release because he did not want anyone, particularly Harry, to think he had been involved.
