EAGLE police conduct searches under ‘Operation Trishul’

Officers of the Elite Anti-Narcotics Group for Law Enforcement (EAGLE), along with the NTR Commissionerate police, conducted searches in houses on Vijayawada outskirts under ‘Operation Trishul’ on Sunday.
The teams led by EAGLE Superintendent of Police G. Swaroopa Rani and Reserve Inspector Nagarjuna, Ajitsingh Nagar CI Chandrashekar and woman SI S. Durga Bhavani, searched the houses in VAMBAY Colony and Excel Plant area in Vijayawada.
Police checked the suspects with drug testing kits and warned against peddling or consuming ganja and other drugs.
