Electronic Arts recently invited us to an exclusive look at the new EA SPORTS FC 27, giving us an early look at the next evolution of the franchise and the vision driving this year’s release. Throughout the presentation, the development team focused on three core pillars that shape the experience: connecting more football fantasies, delivering deeper gameplay and more innovation and evolving the live service with more frequent updates, improved communication and continued innovation.
Alongside these pillars, we were shown gameplay improvements, including smarter attacking movement through enhanced spatial awareness, a complete rework of AI defending, more skill-based crossing and corner mechanics, improved off-balance dribbling, and the introduction of Authentic Gameplay 2.0.
