EA breaks its silence after Iron Man gameplay leak, admitting "well, that didn't go as planned"

Electronic Arts has acknowledged a leak of early gameplay footage from its upcoming Iron Man title, admitting the situation did not go as planned. The company stated it has more to show when the project is further along in development.
Why it matters
Highlights the ongoing challenges of game development security and the high level of public interest in major intellectual property adaptations.
The footage, as we reported yesterday , showed roughly two-and-a-half minutes of gameplay circulating via ResetEra, apparently taken from an "Aug26 test" build.
Now, acknowledging the leak, EA added: "But now you know, and we've got a lot more to show you. See you when we're ready."
Yesterday's leak, as Bertie explains, gives a real sense of freedom and speed as you fly around what appears to be an open-world city space and battlefields, "descending to on-foot combat and back into aerial combat in a fraction of a second".
