Lucas was left “almost inconsolable” after the star second rower suffered a dislocated and suspected fractured left ankle while Brown was taken off with a knee injury.
The club is hoping Brown did not tear his ACL, however he will undergo scans on Saturday to determine the full extent of the injury.
“The docs and physios are not thinking it is good. We’ll cross our fingers we get some good news with the scans, but it’s not looking good,” coach Justin Holbroook said post-game.
