Hollywood star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has revealed details about a documentary on Black Ferns legend Portia Woodman-Wickliffe, describing her as the “greatest women’s rugby player of all time”.
The documentary will be called Undeniable: Portia Woodman.
The actor and former professional wrestler confirmed the project in an Instagram post today, after hinting at the documentary in June.
Sharing a video of Woodman-Wickliffe in her black kit dominating the rugby field, Johnson wrote he was “pumped and proud” his production company, Seven Bucks Productions, would help tell her story.
“She’s the greatest women’s rugby player of all time and a true pioneering female athlete,” Johnson said.
“Portia Woodman is THE straight up GOAT bad ass who leads with grit, heart and pride. She’s not only an icon in sports, but an iconic beacon of pride for our Polynesian culture as well.
