A Directorate of Vigilance and Anti Corruption (DVAC) team arrested the Village Administrative Officer (VAO) of Rasampalayam in Manachanallur taluk in the district on Friday on the charge of taking a bribe.
A. Nandakumar, 42 , VAO, was arrested on charges of demanding and obtaining ₹2,000 as bribe to recommend changes in the name of a patta.
