Dutch gov't will only allow European company to operate DigiD platform
The Dutch government has mandated that the operator of its national DigiD platform must be a European company to mitigate national security risks. This decision follows the blocked acquisition of the current operator, Solvinity, by the American firm Kyndryl due to concerns over US data access laws.
