Durai Vaiko presses for setting up ESIC sub regional office in Tiruchi expeditiously
Tiruchi MP Durai Vaiko has urged Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to expedite the establishment of an Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) sub-regional office in Tiruchi. Despite previous instructions from headquarters, the project has stalled due to delays in finalizing office space and appointing staff.

Tiruchi MP Durai Vaiko has urged the Union Minister of Labour and Employment Mansukh Mandaviya to direct the Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) to expedite establishment of a sub-regional office in Tiruchi.
Mr. Durai Vaiko called on the Minister in New Delhi to press the demand on Monday. In a memorandum to Mr. Mandaviya, Mr. Durai Vaiko said that consequent to an earlier request made by him, the ESIC headquarters had instructed the Regional Director, Chennai, and Joint Director, Salem, to take steps to operationalise the Tiruchi sub-regional office, initially with a minimum staff strength from the Salem sub-regional office.
