July was the busiest month in Dublin Airport's history, according to operator daa, recording more than 3.8m passengers last month.
A total of 3,839,635 people travelled through the airport during the month, up 2.3 percent year-on-year.
Daa said July was typically the peak month for summer travel - however this year's numbers were boosted by people travelling to North American for the FIFA World Cup.
The start of Ireland's presidency of the Council of the European Union also increased passenger numbers on some routes.
The rise in passenger numbers in July represented the 16th consecutive month of passenger growth at the airport.
It means close to 22m people have travelled through Dublin Airport since the start of 2026, up 5.2% year-on-year.
Last month the bill lifting passenger cap, which limited Dublin Airport's passenger numbers to 32m per year, was signed into law .
