A 21-year-old Delhi University student was stabbed to death at her home in West Delhi’s Tilak Nagar on Wednesday night (August 26, 2026). Police suspect an acquaintance who allegedly killed her following an argument, officials said on Thursday (August 27, 2026).
The accused, identified as Imran, 26, is absconding. Police have formed around 15 teams to trace him, an official said. Muskan was a second-year student at Delhi University’s School of Open Learning and lived with her mother, two sisters and brother in a building near Mangla Hospital, police said.
The case came into light following a call to the Tilak Nagar police station around 7.24 p.m. on August 26 regarding the stabbing of a woman. By the time police reached the spot, the victim, Muskan, had been taken to Amar Leela Hospital in Janakpuri, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
