DSS activists detained ahead of PM’s visit to Mysuru
City police in Mysuru detained several DSS activists who were planning a protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit. The activists intended to demonstrate against the government's handling of the NEET exam controversy and the repurposing of a school site.

A number of DSS activists, who had planned to lead a jatha against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Mysuru, were reportedly detained by the City police on Saturday.
The activists had planned to take out a jatha from the clock tower in Manasagangothri on Saturday.
DSS leader Choranahalli Shivanna, who was also detained, said they had planned a “Go Back Modi” protest against the failure of the Government to adequately compensate the relatives of 21 students, who had ended their lives after the NEET fiasco earlier this year.
