The Surya City police have arrested a 35-year-old software engineer for allegedly firing multiple rounds from an air gun from his balcony while under the influence of alcohol, damaging the window glass of a parked car.

The incident took place at Sipani Apartments on the outskirts of Bengaluru, within the limits of Surya City Police Station, in the early hours of Thursday (August 6).

The accused has been identified as Anurag Tiwari, a native of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He had been staying in the apartment for the past eight months and was employed at a private IT firm in Whitefield.
