A 44-year-old man, allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, crashed his SUV into the residence of actor Dharma, in Jubilee Hills, in the early hours of Friday.
Police said the incident occurred at around 12.10 a.m. on Road No. 10. The driver, identified as Karthik Kumar, a resident of the MLA and MP Colony on Road No. 10, was returning home when he overshot a turn near his residence and rammed the vehicle into the house.
The impact was so severe that the vehicle’s airbags opened.
