Drugs worth ₹43 lakh seized in Bengaluru, two arrested
Police in Bengaluru arrested two men for allegedly selling amphetamines and other narcotics to the public, including college students. Authorities seized drugs with an estimated market value of ₹43 lakh and are currently investigating the source of the supply.

The Jeevan Bima Nagar police have arrested two men for allegedly peddling banned drugs and seized 150 gm of amphetamine and 264 gm of suspected narcotic substances, besides a two-wheeler and two mobile phones. The total value of the seized items has been estimated at ₹24 lakh, while their market value is around ₹43 lakh, the police said.
The accused have been identified as Abdul Jabir, 28, a POP worker and resident of Rajendra Nagar, Vivek Nagar, and Asgar Ali R., 31, a lab technician from Neelasandra, Vivek Nagar. Both have no previous criminal cases, according to police.
Acting on a tip-off received on September 19, the police registered a case under the NDPS Act and conducted a raid at an open place near the service road of Domlur Ring Road, where the accused were allegedly selling banned narcotic substances.
