NEW DELHI: Defence minister Rajnath Singh has approved the transfer of DRDO-developed technologies for all conventional missile systems to Indian defence companies for production within the country, in a move aimed at accelerating indigenous missile manufacturing and expanding the role of private industry in India's defence ecosystem.The Defence Ministry said the decision will enable the transition of missile systems developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) from the research and development stage to industrial production.
