Dr M at IJN for observation
Former Malaysian Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamad has been admitted to the National Heart Institute for observation following the death of his wife, Dr. Hasmah Ali. His son stated there is no cause for concern regarding his health.

PETALING JAYA: Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been admitted to the National Heart Institute (IJN) for observation, says his son, Mokhzani.
Mokhzani said the 101-year-old was admitted to IJN yesterday, Bernama reported.
He said there was no cause for concern, and that his father was admitted for monitoring following the death of his mother, Dr Hasmah Ali.
"He was admitted to IJN for observation. The past two days have been quite stressful for Tun M, but for now, he is okay and there is no cause for concern," he told Bernama when contacted.
