The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has decided to charge politician Rose Mbithe Ndeti and her two children with the murder of psychiatrist Dr Victoria Nthunya Mutiso.

The DPP informed the court on Monday that a murder case had been registered at the Nairobi High Court against Mbithe and her children, advocates Chris Mulwa and Angela Mulwa.

There was drama at Milimani Law Courts on Monday after lawyer Angela Mulwa was re-arrested outside the courts after Senior Resident Magistrate for Milimani Law Courts, Joan Mati, approved the application filed by the DPP.

The development comes days after the High Court granted Angela and her co-accused a cash bond of Sh1 million each, allowing them to secure temporary freedom after they were arraigned over allegations of possessing a stolen Range Rover Sport valued at Sh15 million.
