Douglas couple Diego and Denis to spend Traitors' winnings on honeymoon

Co-winner of Traitors Ireland, Diego Caixeta, revealed that in his former role, in a nursing home in Dublin, one of his first patients was the Irish painter Louis le Brocquy.

    Echo reporter Cork city got its first Traitors Ireland winner on Tuesday night when medic Diego Caixeta took the crown with fellow faithful Anna, after banishing their final two opponents — traitors Carla and Pauric O.

Diego, who also revealed to Anna that he was married to fellow contestant Denis Ryan, shared the €45,850 prize pot with the Dublin-based postal worker.

Denis, a psychotherapist and writer, is from Leap in West Cork, and was ‘murdered’ earlier in the series. The couple live in Douglas.
