DoTE instructs college principals not to collect fees from horizontal reservation students during TNEA admission
The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) in Tamil Nadu has ordered engineering colleges to stop collecting fees from students admitted under the 7.5% horizontal reservation quota for government school students. The directive aims to ensure compliance with state admission procedures.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has instructed principals of engineering colleges to not collect any fee from students admitted under the horizontal reservation category (7.5% reservation for students who studied in government schools from Class VI to Class XII).
