The US has rolled out the red carpet for China's President Xi Jinping, who has arrived in Washington for a three-day state visit.

Mr Trump personally greeted Mr Xi on arrival in a rare show of courtesy to his Chinese counterpart.

AI, trade, Iran and Taiwan are all likely to be discussed in talks between the two leaders.
