COMMENT | MATHIAS RUKUBA | When a security officer, police officer, military veteran or other service professional leaves active duty, society often sees a retired uniform, an empty position and someone who has reached the end of a career. That perception overlooks one of the most valuable resources a security system can possess: Experience. Retirement from active duty does not mean retirement from security knowledge.
