A netizen advocating for the wellbeing of guide dogs during the National Day Parade fireworks display said she was verbally harassed online.
The Facebook user, Kay Lin, posted on Complaint Singapore Unrestricted on Monday (Aug 17) about how a man allegedly sent her a private message and called her a "f***ing slut".
She alleged that the man was also a member of the Dogs Singapore Facebook group and that the message was sent in response to her advocacy regarding the welfare of guide dogs participating in this year's National Day Parade.
A screenshot shared by Kay Lin appeared to show a message containing insults directed at her, including calling her a "waste of oxygen".
"No wonder no guy want you. F***ing slut like you should just end your life," the message stated.
