Don Palathara’s ‘Ekadesham’ to premiere at Filmfest Aachen 2026 in Germany

Malayalam filmmaker Don Palathara ’s new film, Ekadesham , will premiere at Filmfest Aachen 2026 in Germany. The film has been selected for the competition section at the festival, which will be held from September 23 to 27.
Ekadesham (titled The Uncertainty Principle in English) stars Roshan Mathew, Jithin Puthenchery, Divya Prabha, Aarsha Baiju, Vinay Forrt, Santhy Balachandran and filmmaker-editor Mahesh Narayanan.
A statement issued by the team says that the narrative is set in Kochi and zooms in on the lives of a group of young people whose lives revolve around cinema, even as they deal with unstable and uncertain careers, relationships, compromises etc.

Amshunath Radhakrishnan, Jose Mathew, Jomon Jacob, Dr Raju Rhee and Don produce the film under the Artisan Films banner. Don has also served as the editor, while the film’s music is by Basil CJ.
