A fan who visited the star reported the damage on social media. Based on a photo shared by the fan, the star appeared to have been scratched. In a statement to Fox News Digital, Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, said, "A fan went to the star yesterday and reported on social that the star was vandalized with many scratches. From the photo she posted, it does appear the star was vandalized with scratches."
