Cardiologist J.S.N. Murthy was conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award at TIC 2026, the annual conference of the Tamil Nadu Interventional Council, on Saturday by Health Minister K.G. Arunraj and Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Speaker J.C.D. Prabhakar. He was also a former Vice-Chancellor and Professor of Cardiology at Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute. For over four decades, Dr. Murthy has quietly lived by a simple belief—that no patient should be denied treatment because of poverty.
