In Chennai, Saidapet police registered a case against DMK deputy general secretary and Nilgiris MP A. Raja based on a complaint filed by one Karthik, alleging that the MP made derogatory remarks against Minister for Energy Resources and Law C.T. Nirmal Kumar during the protest organised by the DMK.
