DKU, secretary seek to intervene in Negeri Sembilan ruler removal case
The Negeri Sembilan Dewan Keadilan dan Undang (DKU) has applied to intervene in a legal challenge regarding the alleged removal of the state ruler, Tuanku Muhriz. The DKU argues the dispute is academic as the removal declaration has been revoked.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Negeri Sembilan Dewan Keadilan dan Undang (DKU) and its secretary have applied to intervene in a judicial review brought by four individuals, challenging an alleged declaration removing Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir as the state’s Yang Dipertuan Besar.
The application, filed on Aug 6, seeks to have the DKU and its secretary, Raja Norazli Raja Nordin, added as the third and fourth respondents and for the applicants to provide them with the full cause papers.
The first two respondents are the Negeri Sembilan menteri besar and the state government.
The DKU and its secretary are also seeking a stay of the application for leave to commence judicial review pending the disposal of the intervention bid.
