During the US Open match, 39-year-old Djokovic had problems with his shoulder and back and also vomited during the game. In the first round of the tournament in Beijing this week, he is set to play Portugal's Nuno Borges.
On Monday, Djokovic told reporters that he currently feels well. He noted that an official match differs significantly from practice sets and training sessions, but so far his physical condition does not cause concern.
