MOSCOW, September 20, 2026 - A delegation from Djibouti has joined international observers monitoring elections for the State Duma, the lower house of Russia’s parliament, the Djibouti News Agency (ADI) reported on Saturday. The delegation includes Kassim Haroun Ali, a representative of Djibouti’s citizens’ rights protection body. The international election observation mission is taking place from September 16 to 23. Russian voters are choosing the 450 members of the State Duma, with voting being conducted at polling stations across the country.
