DJIBOUTI, July 27, 2026 – Djibouti has activated an inter-ministerial task force to coordinate the government’s response to the economic effects of tensions in the Middle East, the state-run Djibouti News Agency (ADI) reported on Sunday, as regional instability threatens supply chains and trade flows. The task force, chaired by Prime Minister Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed, brings together key ministries and public institutions to monitor developments and recommend measures aimed at limiting the impact on the country’s economy.
