Thoothukudi District Monitoring Officer and Director of Agriculture K.V. Muralidharan inspected various development works being implemented in Thoothukudi district on Friday.
He visited the Corporation Higher Secondary School in Samuelpuram and had breakfast with students. He then inspected the centralised kitchen for Perunthalaivar Kamarajar breakfast scheme at Lourdammalpuram and desilting work being carried out in Puckle canal near SS Pillai market.
Mr. Muralidharan subsequently inspected the flood protection equipment at Thoothukudi Corporation office and Tiruchendur block development office and held discussions with departmental officials.
