Distribution of deworming tablets begins in Cuddalore
Cuddalore district officials have launched the National Deworming Day campaign to distribute Albendazole tablets to over 9 lakh children and young women. The initiative utilizes schools, colleges, and health centers to reach the target population.

Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar, on Monday, launched the National Deworming Day campaign that involved the distribution of Albendazole tablets to 9.21 lakh children and women, excluding pregnant and lactating women, in Cuddalore.
It will cover 6,97,458 children aged 1 to 19 and 2,23,660 women aged 20 to 30. The tablets were distributed through schools and colleges, anganwadi centres, health sub-centres, and primary health centres across the district.
