Disgraced ex-Reform Wales leader who took pro-Russian bribes must pay £22k
Former Reform UK Wales leader Nathan Gill has been ordered to pay over £22,500 after being convicted of accepting bribes to promote pro-Russian interests. Gill is currently serving a prison sentence for the offenses.

The former leader of Reform UK in Wales has been ordered to pay more than £22,500 after accepting bribes to make pro-Russian speeches in the European Parliament.
Gill, 53, of Llangefni on Anglesey, was sentenced to 10-and-a-half years in prison in November 2025 after pleading guilty to eight counts of bribery under the Bribery Act 2010.
He is thought to have received up to £40,000 to help pro-Russian politicians in Ukraine, while he was a Member of the European Parliament (MEP).
At the Old Bailey on Thursday he was given six months to sell a rental property to pay the money to the UK government, or face a further nine months in prison.
