Director of Health Services appointed in Keralam

The Keralam government has issued orders appointing the Additional Director of Health Services (Family Planning), V. Meenakshy, who has been holding the additional charge of the Director of Health Services, as the Director of Health Services.

A screening committee with the Chief Secretary as the chairman, the Additional Chief Secretary (Finance) as the member and the Principal Secretary (Health) as the convener was formed to select the new DHS. The committee met on September 15 and prepared a list of eligible medical officers and submitted it to the government for the final decision.
