NEW DELHI: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and some opposition leaders on Wednesday criticised Chief Justice of India Surya Kant's remarks after the Supreme Court declined urgent listing of a plea on police action during the July 20 student protest in Delhi.The criticism followed CJI Surya Kant's remarks where he said, "Don't waste our time," while declining an urgent hearing on the plea. When the petitioner's counsel referred to videos allegedly showing police atrocities on students, the CJI responded, "We are not interested in videos, we don't have time to watch."Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke reacted with "????????????" on X to the CJI judgement, while its spokesperson Saurav Das criticised the court's remarks, saying, "Our Supreme Court deserves better. Surya Kant ji must realise that so much arrogance is not good.
