Dindigul district to host 40th Inter-District Junior Athletic Championship

Dindigul district will host the 40th Tamil Nadu Inter-District Junior Athletic Championship from October 2 to 4. Over 4,000 young athletes across four age categories will compete in track and field events, serving as a selection trial for the National Junior Meet.

Dindigul district will be hosting the three-day 40th Tamil Nadu Inter-District Junior Athletic Championship from October 2 to 4. Over 4,000 young athletes from across the State are expected to participate in the event which will be held in Natham.
According to a press release, the championship is being organised by the Dindigul District Athletic Association (DDAA) in association with the Tamil Nadu Athletic Association (TNAA). The three-day championship will bring together young and emerging athletes from across Tamil Nadu, providing them with an opportunity to compete at the State level and showcase their talent.
Athletes representing 38 districts of Tamil Nadu will participate in various track and field events. Competitions will be conducted for both boys and girls in four age categories: Under-14, Under-16, Under-18 and Under-20.
