Digital payment facility introduced at ‘pay-and-use’ toilets at Kumbakonam

The Kumbakonam Corporation has introduced cashless payment facility at the civic-body public restroom facilities in its domain from this month. Commissioner K.M. Sudha has said that public can hereafter pay the charges for using the restroom facilities by scanning the QR code displayed at these facilities. The payment can be effected through UPI and other payment gateways, she added.
