DIG reviews status of cases on crime against women, children
The DIG of the Tirunelveli Range has reviewed the status of ongoing cases involving crimes against women and children. He instructed investigators to ensure timely production of evidence and witnesses to facilitate faster convictions.

Deputy Inspector General of Police, Tirunelveli Range, R. Thirunavukkarasu reviewed on Thursday the progress in the cases pertaining to crime against women and children in the district.
The DIG also reviewed the progress in the trial of cases on crime against women and the children.
He told the investigators to closely follow the trial of the cases and produce the prosecution evidences and witnesses in the courts on time with due preparation so as to ensure the early conviction of the accused.
