The Federal Bureau of Prisons now lists February 5, 2028 as Combs' projected release date from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, according to TMZ . His previous listed date was February 20, moving the current projection forward by 15 days.
No public explanation has been given for the latest adjustment. Federal release projections can change as sentence calculations and earned credits are updated, and the Bureau of Prisons has not publicly attributed this change to any specific event.
Combs is serving a 50 month sentence after a federal jury convicted him in July 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. Jurors acquitted him of racketeering conspiracy and two sex trafficking charges. He is also appealing his convictions and sentence.
