Lautaro Martínez scored the game-winning goal during stoppage time of Argentina 's World Cup semifinal match against England on Wednesday, July 15 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
The goal came seven minutes after teammate Enzo Fernández fired the ball from beyond the box to score for the defending champions in the 85th minute. Argentina had trailed England the majority of the match 1-0 until the final minutes.
