Dharwad to host 50-day Chaturmasya of Uttaradi Mutt pontiff

The 41st pontiff of the Uttaradi Mutt, Satyatmatheerth Sripadangalavaru, will conduct a 50-day Chaturmasya Vrata in Dharwad starting in August. The event will feature a variety of religious, cultural, and educational programs at the newly constructed Mutt.

Addressing press persons here on Saturday, scholar Prahladacharya Galgali said that the 50-day observance would be held at the newly constructed Mutt at Gopalpur in Malmaddi.
The new Mutt has been built in the property acquired by the seer earlier to cater to the spiritual needs of devotees. It houses the newly consecrated idol of Sri Lakshmi Hayagriva.
A series of religious and cultural programmes will be held during the Chaturmasya period, with devotees from different parts of the country expected to participate.
