Develop and widen NH 748A stretch in Raichur: Union Ministry
The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has issued an official notification to develop and widen a critical stretch of National Highway 748A in Raichur district. Raichur MP G. Kumar Naik confirmed that construction will begin following the completion of necessary land acquisition processes.

The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has published an official notification for the development, widening, and improvement of a critical stretch of National Highway 748A, spanning from kilometre 273.4 to 331.33 in Raichur district.
Announcing the development on Saturday (September 12), G. Kumar Naik, Raichur MP, stated that the notification was issued following sustained efforts and direct meetings with Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari.
”I have been in continuous contact with the Ministry as the alignment for Package 7 of the Belagavi–Raichur National Highway had been pending for a long time. With the notification now published, the development, widening, and improvement work will commence once the required land acquisition is completed,” Mr. Naik said.
